COLUMBIA CITY, Ind.— A Fort Wayne man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in a methamphetamine lab explosion.
The Journal Gazette reports 25-year-old Joshua Angus was arrested on charges including suspicion of reckless homicide and attempt to manufacture methamphetamine. He was being held Tuesday in the Whitley County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. .
Police have said Angus, Alecia Stine and Wade Burns were making meth Dec. 3 in Stine’s mobile home near Columbia City when an explosion sent glass into the 24-year-old Stine’s throat, neck and arm. Angus and Burns fled, leaving Stine bleeding and suffering from chemical burns.
A jail officer said he did not know if Angus had an attorney.
Burns was charged with reckless homicide and attempt to manufacture meth last month.
