MOSSY HEAD — After being called to a Mossy Head address April 4, Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered a car there was stolen and searched it before having it towed.
During the search, they discovered a meth lab in the trunk, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.
Michael Adams, who is 26, told deputies that everything in the trunk of the car was his and that he used those items to manufacture methamphetamine, according to his arrest report.
He was charged with producing methamphetamine, trafficking in pseudoephedrine and possessing listed chemicals with intent to manufacture, the report said.
In addition to more than 200 grams of methamphetamine oil, they also found containers of pseudoephedrine, sulfuric acid, hypodermic needles and other items associated with meth production or use, according to the release.
Adams told deputies he was moving to the residence on Woodlands Drive. As deputies sorted through the items in his trunk, Adams answered questions describing each item.
