A Visalia man who was out on bail for a previous arrest that included charges of possessing a quarter-pound of methamphetamine was arrested again Tuesday for similar charges, according to Visalia Police Department reports.
Curtis Severns, 38, had been arrested March 10 for transportation and possession of sales of methamphetamine and for possessing syringes and driving on a suspended license.
Around 2:30 Tuesday police contacted Severns and searched a rental vehicle he had been driving. He was then arrested for driving on a suspended license and allegedly possessing and transporting 2.6 ounces of crystal methamphetamine for sales as well as eight syringes. He also had a small amount of marijuana in his possession but was not charged because he had a medical marijuana card.
