ARLINGTON – Two area women were cited Saturday, April 9, when a search of the car they were riding in turned up small amounts of marijuana, LSD and crystals that tested positive for methamphetamine/ecstacy.
According to a report from the Vermont State Police, Rachel Jenks 19, Bondville, andHope Dubrow, 18, Manchester, were stopped by state troopers for a traffic violation on Route 7A in Arlington during the early morning hours of April 9. During the stop, police developed suspicion that drugs were present in the car, and a search was conducted.
The search resulted in the seizure of a small amount of marijuana, LSD, and crystals that tested positive for methamphetamine/ecstacy. A small amount of undetermined white powder was also seized and will be forwarded to the lab for further testing.
Both occupants were issued citations for drug possession and will appear in Bennington District Court at a later date.
