Comments Off on Sheriff’s Office finds methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia in Vidor residence

Two people were arrested after officers say they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and contraband in a Vidor residence last week.

An investigation into the illegal possession and distribution of methamphetamine and other controlled substances led to the execution of a narcotics search and arrest warrant at a house in the 1800 block of Concord Road in Vidor on Thursday at about 1:45 p.m., according to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators found about four grams of methamphetamine with a street value of about $600 and numerous items of drug paraphernalia and contraband, according to the release.

Devin Alan Dodge, 38, of Vidor, was in the Orange County Correctional Facility and has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with a $20,000 bond. Lucretia Ann East, 37, of Vidor, was in jail and has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and has a $500 bond. Dodge and East have since been released, according to a jail employee.

OCSO Narcotics Officers and the Orange County Area Law Enforcement SWAT Team worked on this search and arrest.
