Two arrested on drug charges
YELLVILLE — Two people were arrested Friday on drug charges after authorities found methamphetamine in their vehicle.

Jack Kuhnle, 54, of Rogers, and Michelle Byers, 21, of Yellville were arrested after authorities learned they allegedly were involved in a drug-related incident at a Yellville business, according to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office news release.

A Flippin police officer conducted a traffic stop on the couple’s vehicle and authorities found methamphetamine and items used to consume methamphetamine, according to the release.

Kuhnle and Byers was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Byers also was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Kuhnle was taken to the Marion County jail with bail at $10,000, and Byers with $7,500 bail. Both posted bond and were released from jail.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Flippin Police Department investigated the incident.

Two arrested on drug charges in Izard county
MELBOURNE — Izard County authorities arrested two people Wednesday on a charge of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Christopher Roberts, 39, of Paragould, and Margaret Brabon, 36, of Horseshoe Bend were arrested after authorities received a complaint of theft of services, according to an Izard County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Both were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, use or possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, use of possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia and theft by receiving, all felony charges, according to the release.

Roberts remains in the e Izard County Detention Facility with $50,000 bond and Brabon remains in jail on a no bond status.

Deputies with the Izard County Sheriff’s Office and agents with the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force assisted officers with the Horseshoe Bend Police Department in the arrest.
