Comments Off on U.S. Attorney indicts Jefferson County men on methamphetamine charges

Five men from Jefferson County and one from St. Francois County have been indicted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office on methamphetamine conspiracy charges.

The indictment alleges the activities took place between January 2007 and March 2011 in Jefferson County.

Those indicted were Dominic Michael Orlando, 47, of De Soto; Brent Jeffrey Johns, 32, of Crystal City; Todd Michael Adams, 44, of Festus; Bryan Keith Adams, 43, of St. Francois County; Monty Emmett Minion, 39, of De Soto; and Daniel Jerome Dierberg, 28, of High Ridge.

They were each indicted by a federal grand jury last month on one felony count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Dierberg appeared Tuesday morning in federal court in St. Louis.

If convicted, each count of the indictment carries a penalty of as much as 20 years in prison and fines up to $250,000.

The case was investigated by the Jefferson County Municipal Enforcement Group.
