Actor Tom Sizemore, 46, has been questioned by Los Angeles police in connection with the disappearance of his girlfriend, Megan Lacy Wren, 25.
Detective Carmine Sasso, an LAPD unit supervisor who is working the missing persons case, told MailOnline.com: ‘ I spoke to Tom Sizemore on the phone, and he has been cooperative’.
Ms Wren is understood to have gone missing on March 31.
Ms Wren was last seen around 3 p.m in the Rampart area of Los Angeles, near Vermont Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard, according to the LAPD.
Mr Sasso said he would not go into any details because the investigation is ongoing, but he said the LAPD is talking to many people in connection with the case, and that ‘most everyone has been responsive’.
Mr Sasso said they have more information to work through before they can say if they suspect foul play. The case is currently classified as non-criminal.
Mr Sizemore, known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan, True Romance, Heat and Black Hawk Down, is understood to have been living with Ms Wren for six months prior to her disappearance.
One of Wren’s family members told TMZ she ‘sounded like she was in a bad place’ prior to her disappearance.
An LAPD statement said the family told them they are ‘very concerned about her unexplained disappearance, especially given the fact that she has a serious medical condition, and is in need of medical care’.
Ms Wren is said to be an aspiring actress, and according to LAPD has brown hair and brown eyes and is 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.
Mr Sasso said: ‘The LAPD handles 3,200 adult missing persons per year, and a very high percentage are cleared, so the odds are in our favor.
‘A very low percentage results in foul play. In the last 24 months, 10 evolved into homicides, all of which were solved’.
Mr Sizemore married actress Maeve Quinlan in 1996, but divorced in 1999. In 1997 he was accused of spousal abuse by Ms Quinlan.
He was also sued for sexual harassment by a former personal assistant.
Mr Sizemore has two children, twins Jagger and Jayden, who were born in July 2005 to Janelle McIntire.
In the early 2000s, Mr Sizemore dated Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss. He was convicted of assault and battery against her in 2003.
They appeared together in the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew last year where he tackled his long battle with drug addiction.
A sex tape allegedly featuring Mr Sizemore surfaced on the Internet in 2005, and was released on DVD.
He described himself as sober during an interview with The Fix, a website about addiction and recovery, that was posted earlier this year.
The star said: ‘I’ve got three priorities. One: stay clean. Two: stay clean. And three: stay clean.’
He has a history of drug related arrests, including possession of methamphetamine, and once admitted to using a prosthetic penis in a bid to fake a urine test.
In 2005, Mr Sizemore was sentenced to 17 months in prison and four months in rehab for violating parole.
