Comments Off on 3 charged with methamphetamine possession

Three people were arrested at a Martha Berry Boulevard hotel on Tuesday morning, May 17, and charged with possession of methamphetamine, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Police found suspected methamphetamine in the pockets of Claude David Anderson, 45, of 507 Elliot Drive, and Joseph William Wells Tapp, 18, of 203 Cherry St., of Rome.

Police also found a large bag of suspected methamphetamine and two small bags of suspected methamphetamine in a desk drawer.

Anderson, Tapp and Casey Ann Perry, 20, of 2979 Gilreath Mill Road, Menlo, who was also in the room, were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Anderson was also charged with parole violation.

They remained in jail on Tuesday evening, May 17.
