Comments Off on Bellingham couple busted in methamphetamine investigation

BELLINGHAM – A Bellingham couple was arrested Wednesday, May 18, after allegedly selling methamphetamine to undercover agents, according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.

The Northwest Regional Drug Task Force had been investigating drug sales from a home in the 300 block of Kline Road for 11 months, with a task force agent allegedly buying methamphetamine multiple times from the home.

Homeowner Rebecca J. Alex and her boyfriend Kenneth J. Talman, both 50, were arrested Wednesday. A search of the home turned up about two ounces of methamphetamine, some marijuana and $7,000 cash, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Alex was booked into Whatcom County Jail for investigation of eight counts of delivery of methamphetamine, meth possession with intent to deliver, marijuana possession and maintaining a premise for drug trafficking. Talman was arrested for investigation of meth possession with intent to deliver, marijuana possession and manufacture/delivery of meth.
