BANGKOK, June 4 – A drug dealer was arrested in Pathumthani province in possession of 786,000 methamphetamines worth over Bt100 million in street value, two pick-up trucks and Bt3-million cash.

Thailand’s national police chief Gen Wichean Potephosree on Saturday said Aniwat Sae-Lew was arrested by Metropolitan Police Bureau while he was delivering the meth to another dealer, later identified as Somyot Sae-Lee, who fled with his vehicle in front of Metharom housing estate, Rangsit-Nakornnayok Road.

Mr Somyot abandoned his truck at Ramkhamhaeng Soi 148 and his whereabouts are presently unknown.

Mr Aniwat confessed that he was hired by the drug dealer syndicate of Mr Aa-Lek, a Chinese in the northern province of Chiang Rai whose real name is unknown, and each time receiving Bt100,000 per delivery. According to the suspect, he had done so over ten times. (MCOT online news).
