Comments Off on DeFuniak Springs Couple Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) today announces the arrest of John Michael Mullins, 38, and Moranda Denise Reynolds, 21, both of DeFuniak Springs, Fla, on methamphetamine drug charges.

The WCSO investigation began May 26 after deputies received information regarding the possible presence of a methamphetamine lab at 252 Briar Road. Reynolds fled the residence when deputies arrived. Mullins was arrested on-scene.

WCSO deputies subsequently searched the residence and discovered hazardous chemicals used to produce methamphetamine.

Mullins and Reynolds were charged with one count each of manufacturing drugs in a home with a child present, a first-degree felony; producing methamphetamine, a second-degree felony; possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, a third-degree felony; and possession of narcotics equipment, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Reynolds was arrested June 7.

Both suspects were booked into the Walton County Jail.
