JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Four apparent methamphetamine labs were raided this morning in an extended, multi-agency operation, resulting in eight arrests.

A mobile home in the first block of Bullrush Court in Middleburg was raided this morning, said Mary Justino, spokesperson for the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. Four people were arrested at the scene, and two of those people were taken to the Duval County jail and are facing federal charges, she said.

The other two, 38-year-old Jonathan Meyers and 33-year-old Jennifer Baggett, were taken to the Clay County jail where they will be held on local charges.

Two children were removed from the home.

St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chuck Mulligan confirmed there was a second raid in St. Johns County on North Seventh Street in West St. Augustine. He did not elaborate.

The other two raids were in Duval County with at least one arrest.

The first occurred around 8:30 a.m. today in the 9000 block of Holland Street. Crime scene tape blocked the entrance to Holland Street, which connects to the service road off the Southside Connector.

An attorney for the property owner, Michael Yokan, was at the scene later this afternoon. He said the property had been condemned by the city but that he and his client plan to fight the ruling.

He confirmed that the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the DEA were there this morning, and seized baggies with alleged residue of meth. The area is home to the Outlaws of Jacksonville motorcycle club.

The club is a “law-abiding group of citizens,” Yokan said.

The DEA confirms six were arrested on federal charges. Court records show an indictment was filed on the six on August 18, 2011, in federal court.

The charge in the indictment is the group conspired to manufacture meth from late-2006 to mid-2011.

Those arrested on federal charges are Eva Elizabeth Bujno, Ronald Kevin Walker, Danielle Marie Lutz, Charles Raymond Bullock, Jr., Cindy K. Kirkland and Anthony W. Padgett.

Padgett’s last known address is at the Outlaws club location. The DEA said while some of those arrested have ties to the Outlaws, the focus is not on the motorcycle club.

The other bust in Duval was in the 1000 block of Brookview Drive South. The DEA said narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized at several of the locations.

The busts were part of a joint operation being conducted by the DEA, U.S. Marshals, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, SJCSO and JSO.
