Three people were arrested at a Santa Maria residence today after a search warrant uncovered methamphetamine worth more than $11,000.

Detectives from the Santa Maria Police Department Narcotic Suppression Team served a search warrant in the 1800 block of North Barrington Drive about 9:50 a.m. as part of an ongoing investigation into a methamphetamine-trafficking ring operating within the city.

During the search, detectives located about one-quarter pound of methamphetamine.

Jasmine Torres, 24, and Jorge Ortega-Reynosa, 28, were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for sale. Noemi Torres, 21, was arrested and charged with being in possession of methamphetamine.

All were booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail.
