FLIPPIN — A Flippin woman was arrested Sunday on drug charges, according to Police Chief Dusty Smith.
Ramona Taylor, 42, of Flippin was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Class C felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class D felony; and disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
The arrest stems from a tip Flippin Police officers received that Taylor had methamphetamine in her possession, according to Smith. When officers arrived at a residence in Flippin to investigate, Taylor ran out the back door. After a short foot pursuit ,Taylor was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail. Her bond is set at $10,000.
Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police assisted with the arrest, Smith said.
