CASS COUNTY – Four adults were arrested and a child was taken into protective custody after deputies said they found evidence of methamphetamine at a Silver Creek Township home.

Investigators located evidence of burned methamphetamine labs, methamphetamine manufacturing components and methamphetamine use at the residence on the 31,000 block of Swisher Street Tuesday, according to a Cass County Sheriff’s Office news release.

An adult male and an adult female were arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, production of hazardous waste, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a drug house, according to the release. The male subject was on parole for methamphetamine related charges.

Two other adult males were arrested for loitering in a drug house, according to the release.

All four subjects were lodged at the Cass County Jail.

A child found living at the residence was taken into custody by Child Protective Services, according to the release.
