LESLIE, MI — Ingham County sheriff’s deputies found methamphetamine and several components used in the drug’s manufacturing during a traffic stop Sunday.

 Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle/possible stalking complaint at Marco’s Pizza, 100 N. Main St., in Leslie about 10:45 p.m.. When they arrived, an employee saw the suspect’s drive by. A deputy pursued the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The deputy found several items used to make meth inside the single male occupant’s vehicle, according to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office. The Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad was called to assist with the handling of several hazardous materials.
Actual methamphetamine was also found in the vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation remains open pending the results of chemical analysis by Michigan State Police.
