NET-5, with help from two law enforcement agencies, on Thursday raided what the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department described as a methamphetamine lab in Rackerby, leading to the arrest of two people.

At about 6 a.m. Thursday, agents served a search warrant on a home on the 7800 block of LaPorte Road and discovered a lab capable of producing at least a quarter pound of methamphetamine, according to a department press release.

The search team, with assistance from SWAT teams from the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department and the Yuba City Police Department, also discovered 10 rifles, two shotguns and a handgun.

Brady Fisher, 57, and Judy Esquibel, 51, both of Rackerby, were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance and being felons in possession of a firearm. They were booked into Yuba County Jail.
