Comments Off on Salem man convicted of giving underage girls meth for sex

A Salem jury convicted a 64-year-old man of 13 drug and sex crime charges for giving girls methamphetamine in exchange for sex.

Police arrested Edward Randolph Johnston in October after they found a runaway girl at his home. Detectives determined he also had made a drugs-for-sex deal with at least one other underage girl.

The Statesman Journal reports he’ll be sentenced Wednesday.
