Comments Off on Two Arrested in DeKalb County for Possession of Methamphetamine

Two unrelated arrests were made early this morning in DeKalb County involving possession of methamphetamine. Officers made a routine traffic stop of a vehicle with no tag at the junction Highway 11 and County Road 51. Officers say they saw the driver, Chad D. Roberts of Fort Payne throwing a small container holding methamphetamine and a green pill out the window.

They charged him with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance. Officers also arrested a woman following a car chase on Alabama Highway 11 in DeKalb County. Fort Payne City Police placed spikes at Highway 11 and County Road 83. Officers stopped the car and 28-year-old Annette N. Carter arrested her. Carter faces five charges including Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
