Comments Off on 7 arrested for Meth in DEA raids in Grays Harbor County

SEATTLE — The U.S. attorney’s office in Seattle says seven people were arrested Wednesday in six raids led by a Drug Enforcement Administration task force on suspected methamphetamine smugglers on the Quinault Indian Reservation and other rural parts of Grays Harbor County.

Agents seized several guns, nearly three pounds of black tar heroin and liquid methamphetamine similar to the drug found at a meth lab in Stockton, Calif., with ties to Mexican cartels.

The U.S. attorney’s office says the 34-year-old Amanda Park man suspected of leading the organization attempted to hide the drug trafficking with the operation of a cedar shingle mill.  He and two others are charged by indictment with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and money laundering.
