CLAYTON • Charges have been filed against Jeremy Hunter for  possession of methamphetamine after police arrested him three times in as many  months.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper first arrested Hunter, 29, of  the 9400 block of Talbot Drive on Nov. 7 at Interstate 55 and the Butler  Hill Road exit after finding a .45 caliber handgun, 90 grams of meth in his  passenger seat and more meth hidden in the dashboard of his vehicle, according  to court documents.

A St. Louis County officer then arrested Hunter along with Eric Ferguson, 21,  of the 9900 block of Chileswood Drive in a vehicle along that block with  more than 30 grams of methamphetamine and pseudoephedrine pills on Dec. 2.  Hunter fled from the officer as he was trying to arrest him, according to court  documents.

Another county police officer arrested Hunter Jan. 1 at 800 South Highway  Drive after he told police that he had more than 30 grams of meth,  pseudoephedrine tablets to make meth and alprazolam in his hotel room at the  Stratford Inn in Fenton, according to court documents.

He was charged June 14 in all the cases. For the Nov. 7 incident, he was  charged with trafficking meth, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful  use of a weapon.

He was charged with trafficking meth, possession of meth precursors with  intent to manufacture and resisting or interfering with arrest after the Dec. 2  incident.

The Jan. 1 incident yielded trafficking, possession of methamphetamine  precursors and possession of a controlled substance.

Hunter’s bail has been set at $20,000 in the January case, $25,000 in the  December case and $25,000 in the November case.

Ferguson was charged June 14 with trafficking second degree other than meth  and possession of meth precursors with the intent to manufacture. His bail has  been set at $25,000.
