A drug lab was found in a pharmacy’s bathroom.

According to Master Deputy Laura Campbell, deputies answered a call about a suspicious person at the Walgreens on 2700 Wade Hampton Boulevard Thursday about 4:22.

Once they arrived a possible meth lab was discovered in the toilet.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office meth lab team responded to the scene and confirmed that a non-active meth lab was present in the restroom, said Campbell.
Deputies said that at no time was the public inside the store or surrounding area at risk of harm or exposure.

The man found in the restroom with the meth lab was 37-year-old Christopher Eric Scott. He has been arrested and charged with manufacturing of methamphetamines 1st offense and disposal of methamphetamines waste 1st offense.

Mr. Scott is currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
