On Monday, at approximately 6:00 p.m, Agents with the West Central Illinois Task Force conducted a operation in the 5200 block of Broadway in Quincy.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Tristian L. Johnson, age 29 of Quincy. Johnson was arrested for Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine Precursor, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.

Johnson was arrested without incident and was transported to the Adams County Jail.

A juvenile that accompanied Johnson to the location was released to a family member. The Department of Children and Family Services was contacted regarding the juvenile, and DCFS will initiate their own investigation into the matter.

In another separate incident this week, agents with the West Central Illinois Task Force and Deputies of the Adams County Sheriffs Office conducted a methamphetamine investigation in Mendon.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of Charles D. Miller and Mandi V. Higgins of 332 Kropps Court in Mendon.

Both subjects were arrested by agents after they were observed taking possession of a bag of methamphetamine manufacturing materials. A search warrant was obtained and served on their residence, resulting in additional evidence being seized.

Miller and Higgins were arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Both subjects were lodged in the Adams County Jail.
