HARTSELLE, Ala. (WAAY) – A “knock and talk” turns into a meth lab bust for the Morgan County Drug Task Force.

Investigators say many complaints were received about occupants of a Hartselle residence cooking methamphetamine.

John Paul Partain, Timothy Dion Woodall, and Kimberly Melissa Woodall were at the residence when agents arrived.

Agents were able to conclude that methamphetamine was cooked at the residence. Also, agents discovered the explosion of a meth lab in the bathroom.

Woodall’s face was swollen from the meth lab explosion and the bathroom was burned.

The remains of the meth lab were found outside the residence. Finished methamphetamine was found inside the house along with more meth-making products.

Agents charged all three suspects with unlawfully manufacturing a controlled substance in the first degree. They are behind bars at the Morgan County Jail with a $5,000 bond each.

The investigation is ongoing.
