City police charged three people in connection with a suspected methamphetamine lab Saturday:

Christian Morgan, 38, of Beach Haven was charged with manufacture, delivering or possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, possession of red phosphorous with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, conspiracy to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and risking catastrophe, all of which are felonies. He was also charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Courtney Wolfe, 29, of Shickshinny, and Amanda Bowman, 30, of Glen Lyon received the same charges as Morgan, except for Morgan’s resisting arrest charge.

All three were unable to post $50,000 bail and were remanded to Luzerne County Correctional Facility.

Police took Morgan, Wolfe and Bowman into custody Friday after a traffic stop on East Lafayette Place.

State police forensic scientists searched the car and found items commonly used to cook meth inside.
