A 46-year-old man was arrested after police searched a North Portland home on Thursday.

Alex Schell was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center after a search warrant was served at about 5 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Hunt Street. Five other people were in the home at the time of the raid, but were not arrested.

Schell faces delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a restricted weapon charges. He was found with throwing stars, police said.

Police searched the home after receiving complaints from neighbors of possible drug activity, stolen cars and firearms at the residence.

A replica AR-15 rifle was found, police said, but no actual firearms. The case is still under investigation and police are asking for any drug activity in the area to be reported to the Drugs and Vice Division Complaint hotline at 503-823-3784.
