Meth Lab At Local Motel

Warsaw Police drug officers were involved in shutting down a methamphetamine lab Sunday at the Economy Inn.

Police received a tip that a meth lab was located in one of the rooms at the motel, which is located on Lake City Highway in Warsaw. Upon arrival, investigators found two subjects inside the suspect motel room, and they were in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine. Additionally, precursors and items associated with the manufacture, sale and possession of the illegal drug were located, as were additional drugs including Xanax, Methadone and Oxycontin.

Steven DeWayne Stanley, 42, and Carrie Ann Timmons, 35, both of Warsaw, were in the room. Stanley was attempting to hide himself and a “cooking lab” in the bathroom when confronted.

Both were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Sunday evening for charges of dealing, delivery and manufacturing of methamphetamine; possession of controlled substances; and possession of precursors. All charges are felonies.

Because of the proximity to schools, parks, or a public housing apartment complex (Eastgate Apartments) the charges are enhanced, making the potential penalties greater.

Warsaw drug officers continue to take seriously any and all drug information received and will enforce all drug violations to make the city safe.

Methamphetamine production is dangerous, and can cause explosions and burns if mishandled. An Indiana State Police lab clean up team was called to clear the hazardous materials found at the scene.

Carrie finally get caught red handed. we all loved her once, but she loved the drugs. this isnt her first time around the block with a big drug charge like this she was in jail in the south for over six months about a year ago for a massive amount of marijuana. guess jail didn’t teach her maybe prison will.
