Comments Off on Task Force finds large amount of methamphetamine during traffic stop

During an investigation Friday, Little Falls police and members of the Central Minnesota Violent Offender’s Task Force found a large amount of methamphetamine in a vehicle during a traffic stop. A male subject, known by investigators, was identified and was known to be on probation for controlled substances.

In addition to the large amount of methamphetamine, investigators found packaging and paraphernalia, leading them to believe the man was selling large amount of methamphetamine within the city of Little Falls. The man was arrested for first degree possession of controlled substances. The investigation is continuing.

Sgt. Charles Strack of the Little Falls Police Department and an investigator for the Central Minnesota Violent Offender’s Task Force asks that residents be aware that the issues surrounding the possession, sale and consumption of controlled substances are increasing at what he called “an alarming rate.”
