Comments Off on Sturt Police find cash, methamphetamine at St Marys house

A LARGE amount of cash, methamphetamine and electrical equipment were found in a St Marys house last week, after a tip off from the public.

Sturt Police Operation Mantle detectives attended a Bailey St house on Wednesday, September 12, at 12.40pm, after the public called to say a man was allegedly making a methamphetamine delivery to the house.

When police arrived, they saw a 33-year-old Seacliff Park man allegedly leaving in his car.

Police stopped the vehicle on a nearby street and charged the man with driving on a disqualified licence.

His vehicle was impounded and he was also charged with breaching his bail.

The man was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 11.

Police later searched the house and found a large amount of cash, methamphetamines and electrical equipment.

 

A South Plympton woman, 28, was charged with possessing a controlled drug for sale and was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 11.

A St Marys man, 30, had his bail refused and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday, September 14, and a Dover Gardens woman, 20, was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 11.

Their charges were not released.
