Comments Off on Methamphetamine found inside car during Paw Paw traffic stop

PAW PAW, MI — Police are seeking warrants for the arrest of a Paw Paw man who police say was going from store to store to purchase chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.

After Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies were alerted of a man purchasing meth components, narcotics detectives located the suspect vehicle Monday and alerted the Paw Paw Police Department.

A Paw Paw police officer conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle in the 51000 block of 40th Street in Paw Paw Township and found the suspect, Mark Hall, along with methamphetamine components. Hall was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Police then searched Hall’s home and found chemicals used to make meth, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Police will seek charges of operating and maintaining a meth lab, possession of meth and possession of marijuana.
