CANTON — An Alliance woman pleaded guilty Monday to selling methamphetamine and making the drug in her apartment.

Stark County Common Pleas Judge Lee Sinclair sentenced Nicole Hamilton, 28, of 111 Glamorgan St., to 3 years in prison, the minimum mandatory term.

On July 26, Hamilton and another suspect gave meth to a confidential informant in return for $20 they then used to set up a meth lab, according to court papers.

Co-defendant Paul M.L. Bates, 29, of Salem, is scheduled to be in court Wednesday. He has pleaded not guilty to illegal manufacturing of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs.
