A 51-year-old man was charged Thursday with selling methamphetamines to a confidential police informant last month in Washington Township, Lehigh County, according to court records.

Todd A. Shupp Sr. allegedly sold 3 1/2 grams of methamphetamines to the informant at his home on Sept. 26, authorities said.

As part of the drug investigation, police searched Shupp’s home at 8658 Route 873 and seized cocaine, marijuana, a digital scale and paraphernalia used to package drugs, $5680 and several firearms, including a stolen .357-caliber Magnum, according to court records.

Shupp was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before District Judge Rod Beck on Thursday and sent to Lehigh County Prison under $60,000 bail.
