A Vallejo man was arrested following a traffic stop at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near Elliott Drive and Marla Drive in American Canyon on suspicion of drug violations, according to American Canyon police.

He was stopped because the car didn’t have a front license plate, police said.

Tony Lee Sanders, 38, allegedly had a glass pipe with a small amount of suspected methamphetamine in it, Chief Jean Donaldson said.

Sanders was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of methamphetamine possession and drug paraphernalia possession, police said.
