Comments Off on Mother, son arrested on Meth charges after search

GLADSTONE, Ill. – A cabin search by police resulted in the arrest of a mother and her adult son, who are facing drug charges related to an alleged methamphetamine operation.

Henderson County Sheriff’s deputies searched the cabin along the levee in Gladstone Township about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The search resulted in the arrest of Carrie Ann Tate, 51, and her 28-year-old son, Nicholas Burgess, both of Danville.

Each faces two counts of drug-related child endangerment involving methamphetamine as well as one count each of chemical breakdown of an illicit controlled substance, possession of meth-manufacturing material, possession of hypodermic syringes/needles and possession of between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis.  

Burgess also was charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

Both are being held in the Henderson County jail.
