SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz police seized 33.9 pounds of pot, two loaded firearms and packages of methamphetamine from a Westside home after investigating reports of a possible marijuana growing operation.

Officers served a search warrant at 251 Cardiff Place on the afternoon of Oct. 17 and found the drugs and weapons. The marijuana seized has an estimated street value of $307,000, police spokesman Zach Friend said.

Brandi Celebrado, a 29-year-old Davenport resident, was arrested at the home on suspicion of multiple charges, including possession of marijuana for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of a controlled substance while armed. She was booked into County Jail, where she remained Wednesday in lieu of $50,000 bail. She is due in court Friday, according to jail records.

The police department is continuing their investigation to identify other people possibly involved in the operation.
