CANBY — Police arrested a Woodburn man today, accusing him of drugs and weapons violations.

Jorge Felix, 30, is scheduled to be arraigned in Marion County Circuit Court on charges of possessing methamphetamine, selling methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and unlawful possession of a firearm. Meanwhile, he is being held in the Marion County Jail, with bail set at $525,000.

Police in Canby and Woodburn worked with Marion County sheriff’s deputies to investigate the case and execute a search warrant at Felix’s home, which resulted in his arrest.

After conducting a search of Felix’s home, detectives seized approximately one pound of methamphetamine, two Beretta 9mm semiautomatic handguns stolen from a Canby pawn shop last week, a loaded Phoenix Arms .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun and about $22,000 in cash, as well as packaging materials commonly used for drug sales.
