Comments Off on Five meth labs, other ingredients found at Kalamazoo home on 1100 block of Douglas Terrace

KALAMAZOO, MI — Two Kalamazoo parolees, 42 and 21, were arrested Tuesday after a search of their home on the 1100 block of Douglas Terrace.

The men were there when police arrived, and a subsequent search revealed several methamphetamine production labs in progress, as well as finished methamphetamine product, packaging equipment, and evidence from previous meth labs, according to a news release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

Ingredients for the manufacture of illicit methamphetamine were seized.

The release said officers went to the home after receiving several tips that methamphetamine trafficking was occurring there.

Both men are currently lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail. Charges will be sought with the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office for numerous methamphetamine manufacturing charges for both men.
