Law enforcement officials believe that a coordinated drug bust involving a Cottage Grove-area property may be the largest seizure of methamphetamine in Oregon’s history.

On Sunday, Oct. 28 members of Lane County Interagency Narcotics Team (INET) assisted by the Springfield Police Department, Oregon State Police, DEA Eugene Resident Office, Cottage Grove Police Department and the Douglas County Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) executed search warrants in Lane and Douglas Counties after a multi-month long methamphetamine investigation.  According to OSP Sergeant Erik Fisher, the local drug trafficking organization was responsible for distributing multi-pound quantities of methamphetamine per week throughout the Lane and Douglas County areas.
