Police searched a residence at 562 Conti Drive in Millcreek Township and then charged two men and a woman today with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Police said they arrested Travis Johnson, 36, of Los Angeles; Lisa Kittle, 27, of Williamston, Mich.; and Byron Smith, 33, of Erie.

All three were sent to Erie County Prison after each was arraigned before North East District Judge Scott Hammer on charges of possession with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, and possession of precursor materials to make methamphetamine.

Bond was set at $50,000 for Johnson, $25,000 for Kittle and $25,000 for Smith.

The arrests resulted from a three-month investigation by the Millcreek Police Department’s special investigations unit.

Millcreek police were assisted by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police.

Authorities also served a search warrant on a Ford E-250 panel van at the residence.

The state Attorney General’s Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement Program and the state police Clandestine Response Team were called to dismantle the methamphetamine lab at the residence and clear any hazardous materials from the residence and van.
