A $25,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville woman who allegedly was caught hiding illegal drugs. 33-year old Amanda Marie Veley is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia.

Bartlesville police were watching the area of Willow Park Drive south of Hazel due to several recent residential and vehicle burglaries. The police saw a vehicle leave the area with a Cherokee Nation tag and ran the tag. They learned the owner was Valey. According to a court affidavit, Veley had an outstanding warrant in Washington County. Officers asked if her name was Veley and she said no and claimed she lost her license. Reportedly, the police noticed Veley was hiding a purse and she was asked to hand the purse over. Officers found an ID card with Veley’s name on it and found four bags of meth, blue glass pipe, digital scales, and several empty bags. Veley’s next court date is December 14th.
