Two men are in the Jackson County Jail after police found more than a pound-and-a-half of methamphetamine and $915 in cash during an ongoing investigation.

Martin Miguel Hernandez-Villalobos, 43, was arrested Dec. 6 on charges of possession and delivery of methamphetamine, and he remains in jail on $25,000 bail, jail records show. Juan Carlos Garnico-Cisneros, 30, was arrested Tuesday on the same charges and is in jail on $20,000 bail.

The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team served a search warrant on Dec. 6 at a home in the 100 block of South Stage Road, just south of Medford. Police seized a quarter pound of crystal methamphetamine and arrested Hernandez-Villalobos.

Police returned to the home Tuesday and arrested Garnico-Cisneros after finding another pound of meth and $915 in cash, which police allege was from drug sales. Garnico-Cisneros’ Dodge Dakota pickup was impounded.

On Wednesday, investigators obtained a warrant and searched the truck, finding another 5 ounces of meth hidden in a secret compartment.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
