Two people were arrested Tuesday during a raid in Beloit that netted about $20,000 worth of methamphetamine in the house, authorities reported.

Kirk Mickelson, 23, and Briana Ketelson, 21, were tentatively charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia, while Mickelson also was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that a search warrant was executed at 1119½ Ninth Street in Beloit, culminating an investigation that started in July.

Officers found a half-kilogram of methamphetamine, a .45 caliber handgun, cash and drug paraphernalia in the residence.

The investigation was led by the Rock County Special Investigations Unit with officers from Milton and Milwaukee assisting in the investigation.
