Comments Off on Brevard Sheriff’s Office Dismantles Cocoa Meth Lab

COCOA, Florida — On February 5, 2013, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit dismantled a methamphetamine lab at 6996 Evergreen Road in Cocoa, Florida.

 Sheriff’s Agents arrested the residents, 28-year-old Matthew Arrington and 24-year-old Ramona Bush, for trafficking in methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, and possession of listed chemicals. The suspects were taken to the Brevard County Jail Complex and will be held on a No Bond status.
 
 
The lab was discovered when officers of the Rockledge Police Department went to the residence to follow-up on an unrelated law enforcement matter. Upon arrival, they made observations leading them to believe a methamphetamine lab was present and contacted agents of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit.
 
 
 
 
 
 
When Sheriff’s investigators arrived at the residence, it was discovered there was an active lab inside a structure at the rear of the property. A search warrant was then executed on the residence at which time agents discovered approximately 43 grams of finished methamphetamine and 2800 grams of methamphetamine oil.
