Wilmington police arrested four people and seized about 225 grams, or about $20,000 worth, of methamphetamine on Thursday, according to a release from the Wilmington Police Department. Two people were charged with drug trafficking, while two others were charged with drug possession.

Detectives with the department’s narcotics enforcement unit allege that the suspects were selling methamphetamine out of the Holiday Inn Express at 160 Van Campen Blvd. Police followed Andy Joseph Clements, 30, of Wilmington when he drove away from the hotel, then stopped him for a traffic violation and arrested him. Detectives found the methamphetamine in Clements’ car and seized it and the 2011 Dodge Charger he was driving.

All four suspects were booked into the New Hanover County jail.

Clements

Clements was charged with drug trafficking, drug possession and maintaining a vehicle for the use of a controlled substance. He posted a $100,000 bond and was released.

Ball

Ryan Scott Ball, 29, of High Point was charged with drug possession and also had a fugitive warrant on file. He is being held without bond.

Cianco

Christine Katherine Cianco, 30, of Greensboro, was charged with drug possession and also had a failure to appear warrant for a separate driving violation. She posted a $25,000 bond and was released.

Lockwood

Leigh Ann Lockwood, 32, of Greensboro was charged with drug trafficking. She posted a $25,000 bond and was released.
