Agents found 29 packages of methamphetamine hidden in the car during secondary inspection.

The packages weighed about 30 pounds together and are estimated to be worth more than $980,000.

The driver, a Mexican citizen and lawfully-admitted permanent resident, was arrested as the case’s sole suspect and was turned over along with the vehicle and drugs to the Drug Enforcement Administration for further investigation.
