Comments Off on Jackson County Narcotics Unit recovers methamphetamine lab

The Jackson County Narcotics Unit recovered a methamphetamine laboratory along Jackson County Road 255 on Tuesday after a call from the Bridgeport Police Department, according to a news release.

In addition to the lab, Narcotics agents discovered information that led them to a Hamlin Avenue residence in Bridgeport, Ala.

Narcotics agents and Bridgeport police conducted a search of the residence and found marijuana, hydrocodone, phendimetrazine and drug paraphernalia, according to the release.

Officers arrested Holly Elaine Holder, 26, and Tommy Gene Hastings, 32.

Holder was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substances, unlawful possession of marijuana first degree, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful manufacture of controlled substances second degree. Holder is in custody on a $16,500 bond.

Hastings was charged with unlawful possession of hydrocodone and unlawful possession of marijuana second degree. He remains in custody on a $4,000 bond, the release said.
