The Penticton RCMP Drug Task Force has been busy stopping the trafficking of methamphetamine lately. Between February 14 and 20, 2013, RCMP made three seperate arrests of people who were carrying meth and two of them were also carrying weapons.

Michael William Harfman, Brannick Joseph Rioux and Sarah Noreen Scott were all charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and were held in court where they were subsequently denied bail. Police have not disclosed if the three people who were charged know each other or if there has been an ongoing problem with the trafficking of meth in the Penticton area.
