Four people have been arrested following a monthslong investigation into methamphetamine manufacturing around Milford, Delaware State Police said in a release today.

On Friday, detectives carried out a search warrant on a residence, outbuildings and trailers on a property in the 16000 block of Abbotts Pond Road in Milford. Two active methamphetamine labs were found, as well as methamphetamine ingredients and drug paraphernalia, Cpl. John Day said.

Two residents, Nathan Houck and Joshua Ward, as well as two others were arrested on the scene, Day said.

Houck, 25, of Milford; Eric Kuntz, 33, of Laurel; Michael Vincent, 36, of Millsboro; and Ward, 28, of Milford; all were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, second-degree conspiracy, possession of methamphetamine, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and six counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. All were taken to Sussex Correctional Institution on $69,000 cash bail each.

Abbotts Pond Road was closed for about three hours as the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control disassembled and removed the labs, Day said.
