Police have arrested two men after reportedly finding methamphetamine and a gun when they searched on Friday a Visalia home.

Members of the Visalia Police Department’s gang-suppression and narcotics units served a search warrant at the home in the 3000 block of East Douglas Avenue, where they reported finding the 2.5 ounces of drug and the gun, the type of which wasn’t disclosed in a police report.

The home’s owner, William James, 43, was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale and undisclosed firearms charges.

Ray Martinez, 42, who was present when police arrived, was arrested on suspicion of possessing and transporting methamphetamine.

The report didn’t state what lead investigators to the home.
